Monograph on the early work of German photographer and filmmaker Miron Zownir (b 1953), much of it presumably dating to the decade he spent living in New York City; black-and-white photographs marked by their uninhibited gaze and gritty queer eros, transgressive not just of hetero- but of most other norms as well. With introductory texts in German by Harry Hass and Zownir, dated 1994 and 1991 respectively.
