Bookwork produced in conjunction with a multimedia theatrical performance by artist, playwright, and theater director Robert Wilson (1941-2025). Staged at the Piccolo Teatro di Milano in February 1998, the piece was conceived as a celebration of the 70th anniversary of Italian design and architecture magazine Domus. Includes a list of the many contributors to the performance and texts by François Burkhardt and Robert Wilson, followed by leaves illustrated with images presumably culled from the pages of Domus as well as Wilson's sketches, and printed on a combination of clear mylar and die-card card, such that each opening of the book permits a complex, changing view of the contents. All text in Italian and English. An attractive and somewhat uncommon publication; OCLC locates just five institutional holdings.
