SPRINKLE, Annie, ed.
NY: The Filangieri Foundation/R. Mutt Press, [1981]. No. 316 of 1,000 copies. 15, [1]pp; b&w illus. Saddle-stapled in self-wraps, 11-7/8 x 7-3/4 in. Fine.
Fetish-oriented artist's publication devoted to the self-styled "Piss Art movement." Created and edited by American performance artist, sex educator, and pornographic actress Annie Sprinkle (b. 1954), with "design direction" by Sprinkle's frequent collaborator, Dutch artist and Fluxus founding member Willem De Ridder (1939-2022). Explicitly illustrated throughout with black-and-white photographs and drawings, and featuring contributions from Sprinkle, Marco Vassi, Niko Tong, John Reilly, Charles Gatewood, Spider Webb, Willem de Ridder, Adolf Henkel, Günter Brus, et al. Though billed as "Volume 1, No. 4," this reportedly the first and only issued published. Much scarcer in the trade than suggested by its generous limitation. OCLC locates just two holdings, at MoMA and Harvard.
