An Assembling-style collaborative Italian artists' book operating in a radical, non-hierarchical spirit, and featuring sheets provided by 78 international artists. Organized by Carlo Maurizio Benveduti and Tullio Catalano, the project requested that each co-author produce 1,000 copies of their sheets, half of which they were responsible for disseminating themselves in various ways; the other half being collected into the present edition. Contents include conceptual texts, collages, visual poetry, photographs, drawings, performance documentation, etc., reproduced on various paperstocks and by various means, principally in black-and-white. Contributors, associated with Art Povera, conceptual art, Fluxus and other movements, include Robert Filliou, Wolf Vostell, Ben Vautier, Christo, Lawrence Weiner, Vincenzo Agnetti, Fabio Mauri, Marisa Merz, David Rabinowich, Giuseppe Chiari, Robert Barry, Maurizio and Massimo Nannucci, Sergio Lombardo, Peter Downsbrough, Jochen Gerz, Tomaso Binga, Angela Davis, et al. Texts in various languages, principally Italian and English. With a brief and somewhat convoluted description of the project to rear cover (Italian and English), along with a list of contributors.
