Chicago: Charles Schneider, 1981. [54]pp; b&w illus. Saddle-stapled in illustrated wraps. Better than very good, with light toning/soiling to covers.
First and only issue of this morbid and blackly humorous zine of comics and writings, all of which touch in some way on maggots. Notable for containing a single-page contribution (p. [19]) from Daniel Clowes—one of his earlier print appearances. Also illustrations/comics by Ramon Lopez, Rick Altergott, Julie Jigsaw, Steve Greene, S. Clay Wilson, Peter Kuper, and dozens of others identified only by their in-plate signatures. With poems and brief prose texts throughout, including a poem, "Necrophilia" by Alester Crowley. OCLC locates only two institutional holdings.
