Presentation copy of this collection by New York poet Bob Rosenthal (b. 1950), inscribed by him to poet and actor Peter Orlovsky (1939-2010), notable as the romantic life partner of Allen Ginsberg. Rosenthal served as Ginsberg's secretary for nearly two decades, and thus enjoyed a close relationship with Orlovsky as well, as evidenced by this fond inscription. A compelling association.
