An artful selection of images pertaining to American skate culture, paying particular attention to its aesthetic elements. Conceived and co-compiled by Aaron Rose, notable as founder in 1989 of Alleged Gallery in New York, which bridged the worlds of art, skateboarding, and fashion, and played an outsize role in the 1990s downtown zeitgeist. Compiled by Rose, Ben Weaver, and Andrew Holmes, with an introduction by Rose and texts by Craig R. Stecyk III and Garry Scott Davis; notes and credits at rear.
