Artist's book by New York-based ceramicist JJ Peet, sharing its diminutive format with several other such works which Peet refers to as "Book Reports." Images of works collaged together with reproduced typescript and holograph elements, including the text of Peet's "Contemporary Ceramics Manifesto," as well as the object sharing that name: an altered-book copy of Marx's Communist Manifesto. That work includes the text "Brand to Hand to Object," which was also the title of a 2015 exhibition of Peet's work at the Gatehouse Gallery at the Betty and Edward Marcus Sculpture Park at Laguna Gloria, in Austin, Texas
