OLSON, Charles; John Cech, Oliver Ford, Peter Rittner, eds. Charles Olson In Mansfield: Last Lectures [With TLS from Cech].

Boston: Northeastern University Press, [1977]. [4], 28, [2] ll, printed rectos only. Oblong 8vo. Sunning and wear to covers; toning to leaves; one leaf (an introductory statement) loosely laid in, either as issued or as the result of a binding error (leaf is 1/8-inch shorter than the others). Very good.

With TLS from co-editor Cech, as detailed below. A lineated transcript, reconstructed from notes and memory by John Cech, Oliver Ford, and Peter Rittner, of a seminar on poetics given by Charles Olson in the fall of 1969 at the University of Connecticut. This copy with a folded one-page TLS from Cech answering a letter about Olson's use of the word "evaginate." First published as a limited edition by the University of Iowa's Windhover Press in 1974. Date of publication for this edition established via a 2017 CV of John Cech, accessed through the University of Florida website. Issued as Poets at Northeastern #9.
