NORTHWEST Gender Alliance
NORTHWEST Gender Alliance
Portland, OR: NWGA, 1994. 30, [6]pp; b&w illus. Saddle-stapled in illustrated yellow wraps. Very good or better, with mild wear.
Single issue of the newsletter of the Northwest Gender Alliance (NWGA). Contents include organizational news; updates about Portland-area LGBTQ policies and events, including the 1994 Gay, Lesbian, and Bi-Sexual Parade; brief articles by members on such topics as skin care, Jung's theories about gender nonduality, Barbara Streisand's decision not to get a nose job, etc. With sporadic black-and-white illustrations throughout, and six pages of local ads at rear. Originally formed in 1980 as an organization for crossdressers, the still-extant NWGA now supports a much broader spectrum of the trans community.
