NORTH JERSEY ANARCHIST FEDERATION

Haledon, NJ: N.J.A.F., 1992. Unbound newsprint tabloid, 17 x 11.5 in. 8pp.; illus. Very good, with mild toning to leaves, horizontal center fold.

Debut issue of this anarchist newspaper, subsequent issues of which appeared as part of the N.J.A.F.'s Plain Words periodical. Articles reporting on unjust behavior by (mostly Northern New Jersey) police officers. From the introductory statement on p.4: "Before continuing, we would like to say that the N.J.A.F. is not a cop-hating organization. We are an anarchist organization. We are opposed to all authority. We feel that authority only breeds violence, greed and corruption. We also feel that people can govern themselves more effectively than any institution." Uncommon; OCLC locates only three institutional holdings.
