High-quality reproductions of street and documentary photographs by Shigeichi Nagano (1925-2019), originally published in Japanese photography magazines from the late 1950s to the early 1970s, and demonstrative of the "conflict of people in regards to the society that had dramatically changed amidst the backdrop of rapid economic growth," according to the introductory text (in both Japanese and English) by Manabu Torihara. With also an "interview" text, also in Japanese and English, in which Nagano recounts details about specific photos.
