"LSD and Sex" in Sexology Vol. XXXIV, No. 2. September 1967

ALEXANDER, Marsha, contributor

ALEXANDER, Marsha, contributor

NY: Sexology, 1967. Perfect-bound digest in orange and purple printed wraps, 7.5 x 5.25 in. 142pp. A very good (+) copy, showing mild wear and soiling to wraps, some softening at corners.

Single issue of this long-running magazine about human sexuality, notable for the inclusion of the three-page article, "LSD and Sex," a reasonably balanced account of the research, benefits and pitfalls of LSD as an aid to "sexual problems." Penned presumably by the same Marsha Alexander responsible for The Sexual Paradise of LSD, a 1967 mass-market paperback which falls rather decisively in the realm of sensationalism, and is thus hotly collected as a lurid period piece.
