LONIDIER, Lynn
Berkeley: The Berkeley Free Press, 1967. 42pp; b&w and color illus. Saddle-stapled in illustrated red wraps. Minor soiling to base, light edgewear; very good.
First book by American experimental poet Lynn Lonidier (1937-1993), dubbed by Ron Silliman “perhaps the first true avant-garde lesbian poet after Gertrude Stein,” and noted for her playfully anarchic sensibilities and exploration of gender-variant themes. Collage-based poems with illustrations by Lonidier (some in color), and with drawings throughout by Betty and Shirley Wong.
