An exhaustive, chronological documentary record of the life of American poet Emily Dickinson (1830-1886), incorporating dozens of sources, including Dickson's and other family members' letters and journal entries, newspapers, court documents, etc. Compiled by American avant-garde filmmaker and historian Jay Leyda (1910- 1988). A nice copy of this scarce and invaluable work of Dickinsoniana.
