Offsetting to rear free endpaper and rear jacket flap from laid-in material: a contemporary review clipped from New York Herald Tribune, included now in archival isolation. Also laid in are the remnants of a belly band announcing the selection of the book as a Daily Main Book of the Month selection. In an unclipped ("7s. 6d. net") jacket with a small chip at head of front panel, light toning to spine, wear along hinges. A near fine copy in a very good (+) jacket.
