Photobook consisting of color images of the surface of the River Thames; one of several photo-based bookworks by American artist Roni Horn (b. 1955) exploring the formal and topographical variations in bodies of water. All images with accompanying footnotes by Horn expanding on various personal, historical, and theoretical resonances of water. This same body of work furnished the basis of 1999's Still Water (The River Thames, for Example), a series of offset lithographs held by MoMA and others.
