Boards worn, with splitting to cloth at bottom tips, tattering to spine ends. Unclipped jacket with chip to head of the dulled spine, and two chips to front panel, one with a 2" closed tear. A good to very good copy in like jacket.

A collection of over 400 black-and-white aerial photographs, borrowed from various sources, each with a brief explanatory text by German-born Jewish architect E. A. Gutkind (1886-1968), notable as a member of the influential art and design group Kreis der Freunde des Bauhauses. With foreword by G. P. Gooch, and introduction by Lewis Mumford. A surprisingly uncommon title.
