GUERRILLA GIRLS
GUERRILLA GIRLS
NY: HarperPerennial, 1995. First edition. 95pp; illus. 4to. Illustrated wraps. Moderate wear and curling at corners, else very good. With sheet of four postcards bound in at rear, as issued.
Nicely illustrated work covering the first ten years of work by feminist art collective Guerrilla Girls, with an essay by Whitney Chadwick, an interview with the group, and a chronological overview of projects and artworks. Title spread signed by two of the Guerrilla Girls under the pseudonyms Georgia O'Keefe and Romaine Brooks, and inscribed (by Brooks): "To Deb and Evelyn from the Guerrilla Girls," with a drawing of a heart. Decidedly uncommon thus.
