Signed first edition of this photobook consisting of twenty-seven photographs of close-up body parts - hands, laps, legs, feet, etc. - shot in 1975 by South African photographer David Goldblatt (1930-2018); a series exploring the ways in which "particular" details of deportment convey not just personal but also broader sociological information about their subjects, particularly with regards to the cultural and racial stratifications of apartheid South Africa.
