A remembrance of American poet Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997), published in conjunction with a memorial service held at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine on May 14, 1998. Contents include a partial list of Ginsberg's efforts as an activist; Ginsberg's "New Democracy Wish List" and "New Stanzas for Amazing Grace," as well as an excerpt from "Plutonian Ode"; a list of featured guests at the memorial; a biography; a partial bibliography; etc. Illustrated throughout in black-and-white. A list on p.2 names Ed Sanders and Bob Rosenthal as co-chairpersons of the Planet News Committee, which was apparently responsible for producing this. An uncommon piece of ephemera; OCLC locates just three institutional holdings.
