An early, limited-edition iteration of this iconic photoseries by British photographer Adam Fuss (b. 1961); 16 blue- and sepia-toned plates from daguerrotypes, depicting ghostly images of gowns, butterflies, female profiles, etc. With introductory texts in Devanagari script and English, including a (partial) translation of Arseny Tarkovsky's poem "First Meetings," along with contributions in translation from other writers. Text printed in light blue ink.
