ERICKSON EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
ERICKSON EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
Baton Rouge, LA: Erickson Educational Foundation, [1973]. 37pp. Saddle-stapled in red wraps. A touch of fading along spine, else fine.
Five interviews with "specialists experienced in counseling transexuals," presented with the aim of providing guidance to therapists meeting trans patients for the first time. One of several such pamphlets issued by the pioneering Erickson Educational Foundation (EEF), founded in 1964 by activist and philanthropist Reed Erickson (1917-1992). In addition to their publishing and outreach efforts, the EEF played a key role in funding such research groups as the Harry Benjamin Foundation and the Johns Hopkin's Gender Identity Clinic.
