Single issue of this seminal transvestite magazine, noted for its visual brio, substantive, original content, and inclusion of diverse queer and transfeminine perspectives; published and edited by New York activist, impresario, and drag queen Lee Brewster (1943-2000), founder also of the Queens Liberation Front; with cover and art direction by Vicky West (d. 2005). Contents here include the usual roundup of news headlines; a photo-feature on drag balls ("The Last of the Balls"); an in memoriam remembrance of Pam Nolan by Linda Lee; letters to the editor ("Girl Talk"); a profile of Jean Michelle Peters, who succeeded in overturning Detroit's restrictive drag laws; theater reviews; personal ads; etc. Profusely photo-illustrated throughout in black-and-white, and with an advertising slip for Eve Browne's Fashion Catalog for Feminine Men pasted in at rear.
