A sharp copy of the first issue of this New York sex tabloid. Consisting primarily of erotic fiction: a long section of the serial "The Black Castle" by Randolph Ames, with also "Swinger at Large" by Alex Grant. Illustrated throughout with nude photographs, include a nude male centerfold, "Mr. Desire." A brief introduction acknowledges Desire as a staff-produced successor to Come, whose publication had been temporarily suspended "due to internal friction and some rather unique external problems." A somewhat uncommon title in the pantheon of period sex tabloids.
