Artist's book by German artist Hanne Darboven (1941-2009), produced in conjunction with a traveling exhibition of the same name, which debuted at the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago in December 1989; an oblique exploration, made through Darboven's characteristic technique of mathematical, diaristic notation, of the lives of four important 20th-century women: Marie Curie, Rosa Luxemburg, Gertrude Stein, and Virginia Woolf. Nice copy.
