NY: Entermedia, 1978. [12]pp. Saddle-stapled in self-wraps. Toned, with mild tobacco odor; very good.
Program for a multimedia retrospective on the work of American writer William S. Burroughs (1914-1997), held from November 30 to December 2, 1978 at the Entermedia arts complex on the Lower East Side. Produced by John Giorno, James Grauerholz, and Sylvere Lotringer, the three-day event included readings, music performances, panel discussions, and film programming, with appearances by Laurie Anderson, Anne Waldman, Merce Cunningham, John Cage, Ed Sanders, Allen Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, Susan Sontag, Robert Anton Wilson, Phillip Glass, Brion Gysin, Patti Smith, Katheryn Bigelow, et al. Though Keith Richards is included as a Saturday Night performer, his appearance was cancelled following visa issues stemming from his Toronto drug bust. A scarce piece of ephemera.
