A work by California spiritualist Maria Bauer detailing her Anti-Stratfordian views and belief that Shakespeare’s works contained Francis Bacon's encoded Masonic messages. Her analysis of the latter led to an unsuccessful series of 1938 excavations in search of a secret "Bacon Vault" under the Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, Virginia, where Bauer believed were buried golden chalices and lost works. With a foreword by Harold V. B. Voorhis.
