Artist's book consisting of a reproduced publication on Russian tanks, with diagrams and Cyrillic text on versos and the original translations into English, German, French, and Spanish on rectos; a subversive comment on Soviet expansionism by Ukrainian-born Armenian writer and conceptual artist Vagrich Bakhchanyan (1938-2009), an active participant in the dissident Soviet art scene who emigrated to the U.S. in 1974. Edited by Norton Dodge with a brief biography of Bakhchanyan by Margarita Tupitsyn at rear. OCLC reports five holdings.
