ALEXANDER, Marsha
North Hollywood: Brandon House, 1967. 190pp, with [16]pp ads at rear. 12mo. Pictorial wraps. Covers moderately rubbed, with mild wear at corners; toned textblock. Very good or better, with uncreased spine.
Scarce hippie sexploitation-cum-cultural reportage; a case for LSD as a vehicle for sexual self-actualization. Early chapters touch on the broader psychedelics movement, with discussions of Timothy Leary, Richard Alpert, Arthur Kleps and the Neo-American Church, etc. Thereafter largely interviews with and profiles of sexed-up LSD users. Verges frequently enough into outright erotica to raise the question of whether the "case studies" are entirely spurious, or just punched up bluely by the mysterious Alexander. OCLC locates 10 institutional holdings.
