Below is a further gift inscription from Inge to Heather, "who pays it [i.e. Tamalpais] daily hommage [sic]."

Inscribed first edition of this lyrical book-length essay by Lebanese-American poet and artist Etel Adnan (1925-2021); an homage to the titular Northern California mountain, consisting of thematically linked observations, notes, autobiographical asides, and poetic musings on the relationship between creativity and the natural world. Illustrated throughout with reproductions of Adnan's drawings and paintings of Tamalpais. Published by the Post-Apollo imprint Adnan co-founded and ran with her partner Simone Fattal.
