Collection of papers presented at the third neuropharmacology conference; editor Harold A. Abramson was a physician notable as an early proponent of LSD therapy, and for his involvement in psychedelic research conducted through the CIA's notorious MKUltra human experimentation program. Two related papers here, both ranking among the odder strains of LSD research: Abramson's "Blocking of the LSD-25 Reaction in Siamese Fighting Fish," and Murray E. Jarvik's "Effect of LSD-25 on Snails." With eight other papers on sundry neuropharmacological topics. A suitable reference copy, priced accordingly, and in need of a good airing out.
