First edition of the second gay novel written by Clarence Lewis Miller (1911-2001) under his Jay Little pseudonym, about the world of American drag performers ("female impersonators," in the book's somewhat dated parlance). Miller himself toured the South as part of a group of drag performers, also using Jay Little as his stage name.
