A reprint of Crowley's 1929 novel, issued collaboratively by Kenneth Anger's Dove Press and Samuel Weiser. This edition precedes by several months the more common Samuel Weiser edition of 1970. Thus the presumed first North American edition, as well as the first hardcover issue following the 1929 Mandrake Press edition.
Very light shelfwear at spine ends and tips, else fine in a fine jacket with a tiny closed tear at head of front panel. A lovely copy, showing few if any signs of age.
