An attractively designed trio of artist's books pairing text and images to explore the societal expectations placed on women regarding body image. Title references the legendary Greek bandit who would violently resize his victims to fit on his iron bed. As noted in the case, the text of "Buttocks" was borrowed from a 1988 Jill Neimark Mademoiselle article titled "Slaves of the Scalpel." Uncommon in the trade; 19 copies located via OCLC.
