Turnabout Island : A Story of Transvestism

[NY]: Abbé de Choisy Press, 1968. 22, [2]pp; b&w illus. Saddle-stapled in illustrated card wraps. Very good, with Light toning and soiling to wraps.

A work of crossdressing fiction, which according to the rear cover continues the story begun in Fredericks's earlier Petticoat Paradise; summarized thus: "A young transvestite, dressed as a girl, is shipwrecked on a Caribbean island and finds himself rescued by two lovely girls who not only accept his fondness for feminine finery but also help him discover new adventures in his beloved petticoats, panties, and silks!" With centerfold illustration of a man in stockings and heels admiring himself in front of a mirror. Fredericks was publisher of the Abbé de Choisy Press, which notably also issued groundbreaking crossdressing and trans journal Turnabout. OCLC locates only two institutions holding this title (Yale, and Texas A&M).
