Aboard a Flying Saucer

BETHURUM, Truman

Los Angeles: DeVorss, 1954. Signed and inscribed "Best wishes" by Bethurum on the ffep. First edition, but from what we gather a later state not acknowledged by other sellers or relevant bibliographies: no subsequent printings noted on copyright page (as correct), but bound in blue vinyl rather than blue cloth, and with an "All rights reserved under the Pan-American Convention" slip mounted over the original statement on the copyright page. 192pp. 8vo. Blue vinyl boards; yellow spine lettering; lacking the jacket. Binding mildly shaken. Light spotting to textblock top near spine. Binding a little strained between pp.112/113 signatures. Very good.

An account by a significant early contactee about an "alleged 11 meetings with Captain Aura Rhanes, a female saucer pilot from the planet Clarion, a world supposedly hidden by the earth's moon.
