Blue cloth boards backed with white cloth; gilt stamping and blind tooling to front boards; lacking the jacket. Bumping and wear to corners, with some fraying; soiled/browned spine; 2" diagonal closed tear to fore-edge of one illustration. Good, with bright attractive interior.

Twelve poems titled after each of the months by Riley, with accompanying color woodcuts by Gustave Baumann on facing pages. Though unstated, this copy from the library of New York School poet, librettist, and publisher Kenward Elmslie (1929-2022).
