Photobook celebrating the many aspects of life in Maine; black-and-white image by American photographer Berenice Abbott (1898-1991), paired with text by American writer and artist Chenoweth Hall (1908-1999). An uncommon later work by a photographer noted for her 1930s portraits of artists and writers, and for her earlier photobooks Changing New York (1939) and Greenwich Village: Yesterday and Today (1949).
